William Phillips, and Edward and Daniel Phillips, undertakers, appear as two businesses in the Kelly's 1891 directory of Swansea, both having premises at 33A Wellington Street, Swansea. The advertisement for Edward and Daniel Phillips says that it was founded in 1831 by William Phillips.
