In his deposit letter, Rev Ferguson wrote "It was Paton's first year as Professor at Glasgow. In his article in the third series of "British Contemporary Philosophy" Paton mentions that he re-wrote these lectures every year, and they form the basis of his book on "Kant's Metaphysic of Experience: A Commentary on the First Half of the Kritik Der Reinen Vernunft". My notebook contains the full course of lectures for the session ".
