Arthur F.W. Sheffield, OBE (fl 1907-1958) worked in Nigeria as Superintendent ofAgriculture from 1930, Senior Agricultural Officer from 1946, Principal from1949, Research Adviser, Agricultural Department from 1952, Deputy Directorof Agriculture, Eastern Region from 1951 and Director, 1954-1958.
