Administrative / Biographical History
The West Glamorgan Coroner covered those parts of what is now West Glamorgan that were not part of the City of Swansea; from 1974-1996 this equated to Lliw Valley, Neath and Port Talbot Borough Councils. In 1996 the boundaries were altered to coincide with the County Borough of Neath Port Talbot, and the coroner became known as the Neath Port Talbot Coroner.
