The diary was discovered by Jill Forward of Sketty, Swansea. It is believed to be the diary of Mrs Howell, wife of Dr. K. G. Howell. As the diary is unattributed and was merely found by Ms Forward, it will remain closed to public inspection for 100 years from the date of the final entry.
