The collection includes draft material relating to unpublished works, including stories written by Gaye Hicyilmaz when she was a child; drafts, research material, correspondence and reviews relating to all of her published novels, and some published short stories; personal papers, including material relating to reviews of children's books written by Hicyilmaz for the Times Educational Supplement; and English and foreign language editions of Hicyilmaz's published novels.
