Administrative / Biographical History

James McLardie & Sons Ltd was registered as a joint stock company in  1904  and took over the existing business,  James McLardie & Sons. They operated as scourers, bleachers, dyers and finishers from premises at Meikleriggs, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. In  1927,  the entire assets of the firm were sold to  William Fulton & Sons Ltd, textile finishers, Paisley, and thereafter the company operated as a branch of William Fulton & Sons Ltd. The company appears to have still been in operation in 1941.

Three series and one subfonds of financial records, subdivided into three series.
