Administrative / Biographical History
The Swansea Festival Patrons' Association was established in 1973 with the aim of supporting the Swansea Festival of Music and the Arts. The association sponsors a major concert given by a visiting international orchestra and organises pre-concert lectures, and supports other musical events where it can during the year. The association is currently (2013) known as the Friends of the Swansea Festival of Music and the Arts.
