Designs for murals

Various scenes marked up with gridlines as if for transfer, suggesting probable use as murals or as preparation for larger paintings. One of the scenes is shown in finished form in a restaurant in the photographs also held in this collection (D/049/14). Scenes include neoclassical ornamental gardens and terraces, a Venetian canal, and a street scene featuring a church which closely resembles St John's, Workington, Cumbria.
