Administrative / Biographical History

Tabernacle Independent Chapel, Skewen, Glamorgan (now Neath Port Talbot), was established in 1848 and its chapel built in 1860. Mynydd-bach chapel, Llangyfelach, Glamorgan (now Swansea), is the oldest Independent chapel in the Swansea area. It was established in 1761 with a new chapel being built in 1867. Bethel Chapel, Bethel Road, Llansamlet, Glamorgan, was established in about 1818. New chapels were built in 1858 and 1879.

Arranged into the following: Tabernacle Independent Chapel, Skewen, Coedffranc; Mynyddbach Chapel, Llangyfelach; Llansamlet, Bethel Welsh Congregational Chapel.
