Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
In October 2011 the Friends of Blaengwynfi Library Reading Group held a historical photographic exhibition to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the opening of the Workman's Hall and Library in Abergwynfi and Blaengwynfi in the upper Afan Valley. Associated with this, pupils from Cymmer Comprehensive School made recordings of conversations with long-term residents of the area, and these were combined to make an audiovisual DVD.
