Scope and Content

Papers of Professor Blair-Bell concerning his involvement in the International Conference on Cancer in London (1928), arranged by the British Empire Cancer Campaign, relating to the invitation extended to him to open a discussion on lead treatment for cancer at the conference, discussion of a dispute over the editing of his presentation for publication, Blair-Bell’s statement concerning malpractice at the conference, and a copy of the discussion paper presented by Professor Blair-Bell, together with a copy of the 1927 annual report of the British Empire Cancer Campaign and details of the Duke of York’s commitment as President of the British Empire Cancer Campaign.
