The volume describes the involvement of the Talbot family in the Tractarian movement and the development of liturgical music at St Marys Abbey and church, Margam, through the appointment of Richard Seaton as organist and choirmaster, and subsequent developments at St Theodores Church, Port Talbot, through the work of Richard Seatons son, Frank Richard Hayne Seaton.
