Contains copies of various submissions made to the Zuckerman Commission from interested parties including the Anglers' Co-operative Association (ACA), Noranda-Kerr Ltd, the Sand and Gravel Association, the UK Metal Mining Association, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Cornish Chamber of Mines, the Committee for Environmental Conservation, the Association of River Authorities, The Institution of Civil Engineers, the County Councils Association, the Rural District Councils Association, the Institute of Biology, Consolidated Gold Fields, the Ramblers' Association and the British Tourist Authority; items relating to the County Councils Association including the Minutes of the Executive Council (May 1972) and the Gazette (Jun, Oct 1972); and other related material including copies of newspaper articles, an extract from the Annual Report of HM Senior District Inspector of Mines and Quarries West Midlands and North Western District (1972), a copy of The General Electricity Generating Board's Experience of Environmental Planning and Building in Attractive Landscapes (1971), a transcript of the BBC programme 'This Island Now: 1: Mining or Environment?' (1972), and copies of the ACA Review (Summer 1972) and The ACA Handbook: Pollution.
