The Ynysgeinon Estate consisted of land and minerals in the parish of Cilybebyll, Glamorgan, near Ystalyfera, including properties called Ynys-y-ci, Ynys-y-geinon, Pen-rhiw and Pen-y-graig. There was also a property in Swansea. The estate was purchased from the Briton Ferry Estate in 1828, and remained in the hands of the Thomas family for the remainder of the century.
