Administrative / Biographical History
The Hospital was opened in 1978 by Prince Charles. It provides acute emergency and elective medical and surgical services, Intensive Care and Coronary Care; consultant-led obstetrics services with Special Care Baby Unit, inpatient consultant-led paediatric medicine and has a busy Accident and Emergency Unit.
