Casgliad Lluniau Mawr y Brifysgol / Collection of Large University Photographs

An artificial assemblage of large photographs mostly, which once adorned the walls of various University premises in the past. Includes photographs of individuals, groups, buildings and other views relating to the University College of North Wales (a.k.a. University of Wales Bangor and now known as Bangor University).

Also includes a series of miscellaneous items, which were once framed and displayed e.g. graduation certificates and greetings.

Collection transferred to the care of the archives via the Collection Officer of the University, Helen Gwerfyl in May 2015.

All photographs, apart from 3, have been removed from their frames, for conservation issues and ease of storage.

Collected and stored as part of the University art collection until May 2015.
