Set of plans to accompany the transfer of land formerly belonging to the Mumbles Railway, from South Wales Transport Co. Ltd. to Swansea County Borough Council. Includes note on the front: “These are the plans signed (in duplicate) by Donald Phillips Drew and by Iorwerth John Watkins referred to in a deed of conveyance and assignment and surrender made the thirty first day of December one thousand nine hundred and sixty-two between the South Wales Transport Company Limited (the Company) of the one part and the Mayor Aldermen and Burgesses of the County Borough of Swansea (the Corporation) of the other part and listed in the second schedule thereto. One set of the plans is in the possession of the company and one is in the possession of the Corporation.” The plans are annotated Ordnance Survey 1:1250 plans and show, in sections, the complete length of the Mumbles Railway, along the seafront from Mumbles Pier to Blackpill, the Esplanade and central Swansea, and then to High Street Station; also the Clyne Valley Branch, joining at Blackpill.
