Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Founded in 1999, the Llansamlet Historical Society aims to promote interest in and and collect information regarding the history of the area and its people. The society ran an HLF-funded project during 2014-2015 entitled Sharing Llansamlets Heritage. Its purpose was to digitise their holdings of original photographs and documents, and to record reminiscences, in English and Welsh, of members of the society. The disks that form this collection are the outcome of the project.
