Helen Grace, also known as Nell or Nellie, was born in Leeds in 1881. Helen's parents were William and Anna Maria Harvey. Helen had 4 brothers - Thomas Edmund 'Ted' Harvey, William Fryer 'Will/Willie' Harvey, Phillip 'Phil' Harvey and John Wilfred Harvey. Helen also had two sisters - Mary Katherine Harvey and Margaret 'Marnie' Harvey. The family lived in Roundhay In Leeds. Helen was educated at The Mount School, a Quaker boarding school for girls in York.
