Administrative / Biographical History
Cyril Howard was born on 20th September 1920 and lived in Tonmanwr. He served in the 8th Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlander in World War Two. He was killed in action on 1st April 1945, age 24 and buried in Faenza British Cemetery, Italy. Cyril Howard was married to Gwenda Howard and had four children: Gerald (b.1938) Marlene (b.1940), Phyllis (b.1941) and Graham (b. 1942).
