  • Minutes of partners' meetings, 1920–1933.

Administrative / Biographical History

The Littlemill Distillery was operating at Bowling, Dunbartonshire, by 1817-1818 when it was owned by Matthew Clark & Co. It was bought and sold on many occasions, and was rebuilt in 1875. In 1918 the Littlemill Distillery Co acquired it from the Yoker Distillery Co. The Littlemill Distillery Co was acquired in 1920 by Charles Mackinlay & Co and JG Thomson & Co, who operated the distillery until 1933. The distillery did not flourish under subsequent owners and the plant was dismantled in 1996. The remaining buildings were demolished two years later.
