Copies of films made by the National Screen and Sound Archive of Wales of films transferred from West Glamorgan Archives. They were discovered during a clear-out of the Swansea University Students Union building in 1980. Copies of films made by the National Screen and Sound Archive of Wales of films transferred from West Glamorgan Archives. They were created by members of the Talbot Fletcher family who owned Margam Abbey and also Saltoun Hall, East Lothian, Scotland. The films include footage of their foreign travels in India, Switzerland, North Africa and France, and various locations in the UK including sailing at Cowes, Saltoun Hall, Lincoln and Southwell cathedrals, and an army training camp. DVD 6 also includes the marriage of Mr John Fletcher, Welsh Guards, to Miss N. Gabbett-Mulhallen at the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks, 20 Dec. 1933.DVD 5-6

Copy of original black-and-white footage of the merchant ship British Reliance of London met by tugs including the Margam and Seamark of Swansea and the North Wall and North Buoy of Liverpool, and berthing in Swansea Docks.DVD 7

DVD recording the unveiling of a plaque to replace the original one unveiled by HM the Queen in 1955 to mark the opening of the Usk Reservoir in 1955. The original plaque was stolen, and a replacement was installed as a result of the efforts of the Upper Usk Rural Alliance working with Welsh Water and Natural Resources Wales. The DVD also includes footage of a lecture delivered on the occasion by Mrs Lynne Davies, former resident of one of the farms affected by the reservoir.DVD 8
