The six log books record Dr Miller's journeys around the country, and are dated as follows:

- 3. 1952-1957
- 4. 1957-1967
- 5. 1967-1981
- 6. 1982-1989
The log books are illustrated in places, with photographs of all the cars Dr Miller owned and information about repairs and the costs of maintaining a car (including petrol prices), and date from June 1930 - June 1989. There are several references to Bassett Gardens, Isleworth, where Dr Miller's brother lived, and to Llanelli, South Wales, where Dorothy Miller came from.
