Three numbered volumes containing printed and manuscript poetry by Edward Young (Eos Wyn) of Alltwen, Pontardawe. Volume 1 consists of 85 collected printed poems pasted into a school exercise book, and one (Deffryr Wawr yn Ddystaw) by E. Young. It also includes a letter to D. Rhys Phillips [of Swansea Library] from Edgar Phillips of Blackwood, Monmouthshire explaining why he is sending him the volumes, 1932. Vol. 2 contains manuscript poems by E. Young, along with notes of his successes in eisteddfodau with particular poems. Vol. 3 is an appointments diary for 1875 with collected printed poetry pasted in.
