Administrative / Biographical History

Born in 1923, Wilfred Waters was one of the top racing cyclists in Britain in the 1940s. Waters competed in track, road and grass cycling competitions as an individual, in tandem (usually with his brother) and in a team of four. In 1948 London Olympic Games Waters won bronze in the 4000 metres team pursuit race.
