Original artwork, in various stages of development, and related material for 7 titles illustrated by Diana Stanley. The collection includes original artwork for 'Matilda and the Chickens' by Madeleine Henery; original artwork for four of the titles in 'The Borrowers' series by Mary Norton, and related correspondence; and original artwork for 'Worzel Gummidge' and 'Worzel Gummidge and Saucy Nancy' by Barbara Euphran Todd. The collection also includes original illustrations, arranged as storyboards, for an unidentified story about two characters called Monster and Beastie.

Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Created by Diana Stanley during the course of her career as an illustrator. Deposited with the National Book League, which later became Booktrust.
Arrangement
When the collection was transferred from Booktrust to Seven Stories, material was roughly sorted according to title and this system of arrangement has been maintained. The collection is arranged as follows:

- DS/03 'Worzel Gummidge' series
- DS/04 'Monster and Beastie' storyboards
