Goldsmiths, University of London
Goldsmiths library collects archives which are reflective of Goldsmiths’ influential position in the creative and performing arts, and involvement with the culture of the local communities as well as broader society in contemporary Britain. Our collections cover the creative and performing arts, culture and society, visual arts, music, drama, textiles and political movements particularly from the contemporary and twentieth century periods.
Major archives held include the Women's Art Library/Make, LIFT Living Archive and Serge Prokofiev Archive. Goldsmiths continues to develop its archival collections and to work in creative partnerships with researchers and cultural organizations to preserve and make archives available, now and in the future.
All archives are available for consultation in Special Collections and Archives, room G28 on the ground floor of the Library, by appointment. As cataloguing progresses, it is anticipated that the full catalogue will join the collection descriptions available on the Hub.
