Dogfennau yn perthyn i Dr. Leslie Baker Jones, 1922 - 2019, llenor, hanesydd, archifydd, cerddor. Brodor o Felindre ger Castell Newydd Emlyn. Addysgwyd ef yng Ngholeg Dewi Sant, Llanbedr Pont Steffan, Coleg Iesu Rhydychen ac Inner Temple. Etholwyd yn Gymrawd Cymdeithas yr Hynafiaethwyr yn 1977.

O 1979 bu'n gweithio yn yr Adran Archifau yng Nghaerfyrddin, a bu'n ddarllenydd ac yn organydd yn Neoniaeth Emlyn am hanner can mlynedd. Ymhlith ei weithiau cyhoeddedig mae ‘Princelings, Priviledge and Power’ – The Tivyside Gentry in their Community (1999), The Glaspant Diary 1896 – A chronicle of Carmarthenshire Country Life, (2002) a The Wolfe and the Boar (2005) Jeremy Taylor (1613 – 1667) - Prebendari Eglwys Gadeiriol Tyddewi.

Documents belonging to Dr. Leslie Baker Jones, 1922 - 2019, writer, historian, archivist, musician. A native of Velindre near Newcastle Emlyn. He was educated at St Davids College, Lampeter, Jesus College Oxford and Inner Temple. Elected a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries in 1977.

From 1979 he worked in the Archives Department in Carmarthen, and was a reader and organist in the Emlyn Deanery for fifty years. Published works include ‘Princelings, Priviledge and Power’ - The Tivyside Gentry in their Community (1999), The Glaspant Diary 1896 – A chronicle of Carmarthenshire Country Life,(2002) a The Wolfe and the Boar (2005) Jeremy Taylor (1613 – 1667) – A Prebendary of St. David’s Cathedral.

Includes several publications, articles and notes on local and wider social history.
