Administrative / Biographical History

The British contingent of the Andes Evangelical Mission, operating mainly in Bolivia, merged with the Evangelical Union of South America in 1981. The present papers passed into the custody of the Evangelical Union of South America during that merger. The Andes Evangelical Mission was previously know as the Bolivian Indian Mission, and was founded in 1907 by New Zealander, George Allan, to minister to the indigenous Quechua people in Bolivia.
