The papers in this series were accumulated by Cyril Fry in support of his research into the family history of the Angersteins, especially their connection with the Locks of Norbury Park, and Woodlands, the country villa they occupied from 1774 to 1870. They consist of genealogical notes and correspondence with descendants of JJA, transciptions of documents and letters relating to JJA and his circle, annotated draft publications and offprints of Fry's articles published in the 'Transactions of the Greenwich and Lewisham Antiquarian Society', correspondence with staff at various libraries and archives, and photographic reproductions of artworks connected with the Angersteins.
