Scope and Content

Daniel Evans of Llandudno was the first casualty of WWI from the town. Digital images showing him as a sailor on HMS Amphion and later mounted as a soldier of the Caernarfon Battery of the Royal Garrison Artillery. He died 2 Oct 1919 in Llandudno Cottage Hospital.
