Autobiography of James Dunnachie, J.P., Glenboig. Glenboig, 13th April 1903.
Carbon copy of typescript memoirs covering 1835-1903. Text similar to MS Gen 919/2 but with additional material in manuscript on versos covering 1904-c.1913. Photographs, cut from publications, of Dunnachie and brickworks at Glenboig, Gartcosh and Cumbernauld.
Autograph paper label on front cover: This is the only copy which contains the list of celebrities I have met & seen [fol. 34].
Includes history of Glenboig Fire Clay Co., James Dunnachie Star Works and Glenboig Union Fire Clay Co., and Dunnachie's travels in Europe, North America and South Africa.
