    • 1 papyrus fragment. 30.2x15.4 cm. Encapsulated in laminated glass incorporating a UV filtering film, window mounted and enclosed in buckram covered boards by Glasgow University Library Conservation Department, 1996/97.

Scope and Content

Oxyrhynchus Papyrus 1384. Medical recipes, for a purge, for curing strangury and wounds; and theological extracts, inserted on account of their medical interest, perhaps as a kind of charm. 5th century. Fragment from Oxyrhynchus.
