Scope and Content

Emmington is a small village in the east of Oxfordshire, very near the border with Buckinghamshire. It was united with Chinnor and Sydenham in 1973, which three parishes were in turn united with Aston Rowant with Crowell in 1986.

Of the records in PAR96, PAR96/4/F1/1 was deposited with the Bodleian Library in 1958 , PAR96/1/R2/1, PAR96/1/R3/2-3 and PAR96/1/R7/1-2 in 2003 as Acc 5097, and the other items in 1984
