A collection of cancelled mortgages on schools.

A collection of cancelled mortgages, the loans having been used for the improvement of various schools and educational establishments through Carmarthenshire. Most of the loans were from the Public Works Loan Board, but some were from various assurance companies or staff superannuation funds. All were secured on rates rather than buildings.
