George Mackenzie's dance book of the Royal Artillery.
Music transcribed or composed by Mackenzie for Royal Artillery Band, Woolwich, for officers' dances, April 1814 to June 1815.
Inscription on flyleaf: Mary Leith, Leith Hall, March 1816. Donated to her by Mackenzie; subsequently donated by Mrs Leith Hay, Kennethmont, to Mrs Mitchell, c.1870, and inherited by her son, J.P. Mitchell, Cults, who donated it to H.G. Farmer via Herbert Wiseman, 1952.
