Littlemore Church of England School was formed in 2003 as a result of the re-organisation of Oxford Schools and the closure of Speedwell First School (please see S163/1 for records of this school) and Lawn Upton Middle School (please see S163/2 for records of this school). The school took over the majority of the Lawn Upton site and is now known as the John Henry Newman Academy.
