Hafodunos Hall was designed by architect Sir George Gilbert Scott and completed in 1866. During the 1950's and 1960's it was used as girls boarding school. This collection of photographs (digitised from a series of albums and donated to Conwy Archives as digital images) date from this period of time and include images of the building and grounds as well as images of the pupils taking part in school activities and in formal group portraits. The building was badly damaged by an arson attack in 2004 and so these images provide an important insight into how the building looked prior to this damage.
