Scope and Content

Manuscript letter on Society of Female Artists notepaper from 53 Pall Mall [London]. Undated, but after she moved in 1863. Has paid £4.0.0. into Coutts Bank for him. Has sold all the bronzes and a picture 'Les petites Artistes' Madame Chosson. Sorry that the Rosa Bonheur drawing has been lithographed. Nevertheless has a gentleman who is willing to pay £50.0.0 for it. Has been told that the large pictures have already been exhibited at the Crystal Palace what shall she do with them? Has not sold much this year, Requests an early reply regarding Rosa Bonheur drawing. One of 12 letters glued to a backing sheet.
