The National Library holds a group of records relating to the Jones family of Llanarth, co. Monmouth, 17th-18th centuries, together with others relating to counties Monmouth and Glamorgan, 17th-19th centuries. These are described in the list 'Deeds and documents purchased from Mrs Kyrle Fletcher (Second Group)'. They include deeds, documents, and papers, 1621-1831 (largely middle-late 17th century), acquired by Kyrle Fletcher mostly relating to Monmouthshire. The main group relates to the Jones family of Llanarth, Monmouthshire, 1621-early 19th century, and includes some important items relating to the Civil War. The National Library also holds a group of deeds, 1520-1777, relating to properties in the counties of Brecon and Glamorgan, notably to the Woods family of Brecon; and a group of deeds, 1647-1876, relating to properties in the Llandeilo area of co. Carmarthen. There is further relevant material in the Llangibby Castle collection at the National Library. There are other records relating to the Jones family of Llanarth in the Llanarth Court collection at the Gwent Record Office. The National Library also holds groups of deeds, 1520-1777, relating to properties in the counties of Brecon and Glamorgan, notably to the Woods family of Brecon; and deeds, 1647-1876, relating to properties in the Llandeilo area of county Carmarthen.
