This series contains a large amount of correspondence addressed to Elizabeth de Haas from 'Vaterchen'; press cuttings; plant samples; photographs including photographic albums of travels by Elizabeth de Haas and prints.
The room was Dorothy Walker's bedroom on the second floor; when she died in 1963, it was taken over by Elizabeth de Haas as her own bedroom. Some of the papers in this sub-series were contained in an early 18th-century walnut, crossbanded and herringbone strung bureau, the sloping front enclosing drawers and pigeonholes above two short and three graduated drawers, on bracket feet.
