Administrative / Biographical History
Bodednyfed township appears on the 1352 Extent of Anglesey. There was one carucate of demense land held by Iorwerth Ddu Bontew who owed suit to the lord's mill Melin Adda. [A carucate is the extent cultivated by one plough in one year and a day (120 acres)]. Bodednyfed was a Medieval Bond Vill.
