Note: Letter from Sir Hugh Lane of 12 Feb 1914 as to the acceptance of his collection of modern continental pictures, and draft of Chairman's letter in reply filed in Lane File; in 1994 transferred to S952; and Reports from Mr Sargent RA and Mr D S MacColl of 24 Feb 1914 as to the Lane collection filed in Lane File; in 1994 transferred to S952; and Motions by Lord Plymouth and Lord Ribblesdale as to the above loan filed in Lane File; in 1994 transferred to S952. The contents of S952 have now been placed in the Archive under the reference NG14/22.
