Documents: Includes Minutes books: statements of accounts and other financial papers; a photograph of the opening ceremony of the new Institute; a business plan; and papers re the Snooker Club, including a copy photograph and posters, etc.

The Memorial Institute, Llangefni (a mock Tudor hall) was built on the High Street in 1906 and donated to the town. It was dedicated to the memory of Catherine Elizabeth Ann Williams and Colonel Bramstone-Smith of Pencraig, Llangefni. Catherine Williams had married Lieutenant-Colonel Laurence Williams in 1897, and he financed the construction of the building. In 1927, the building was extended to act as a snooker hall. For many years various organisations such as the local snooker club and NACRO met at the Institute. The building was closed in 2001.
