Photographs in the Peter Wiliiams Collection

Photographs sent to Peter Williams by dancers and dance companies world-wide.

The collection is arranged into series alphabetically by continent. Each series is divided into subseries of countries and then into files for each dancer, choreographer or dance company represented. The files consist of packets of photographs of particular choreographic works. Each packet has been catalogued as an item. File and item titles have been transcribed as per the original packet, but with spelling mistakes amended. The most current names of dance companies have been used in the description field. The description field also contains titles of choreographic works as given on Dance on Disc, 2003. Dates have either been taken directly from the photographs or inferred from other sources in which case the date is enclosed in square brackets and the source is indicated.
