The family name was often spelt Llewellin during the 19th century. The deeds of that date mostly concern land for building, identified by house numbers at a later date. Many plots were once part of Gwernllwyn Isha, Gwernllwyn Isaf and Gwernllwyn Bach farms. Names of 19th century lessors have been given where they apply to a number of plots.
