Scope and Content

St Luke's opened in 1934 as a small wooden mission church in Canning Crescent to serve the new district of Weir's Lane. It was served by the clergy of St Matthew's, Grandpont and should not be confused with the church of St Luke's, Temple Road, Cowley.
