that £40 (part of £153 lent on mortgage of property in Llanelidan belonging to John Thomas ap Robert of ?Garthneyath, co.Denbigh) is the property of the poor of Llanelidan, and that the yearly interest is to be distributed by William Parry, Charles Goodman, John Jones, John Vaughan, Richard Parry, John Goodman, Edward ap Hugh and Edward ap Thomas for the use of the poor of Llanelidan, with the consent of the trustees, William Parry and Eubule Thelwall. 1 September 1657
