Scope and Content

This series comprises records relating to conferences and tours that Bernard Crick was a speaker at, or attended throughout his life. Whilst many of the files have correspondence and administrative papers in them, they also include published pamphlets and publications.

Arrangement

The talks and conferences files were mostly loose in boxes, although many had been bundled together into year order, and this has been maintained in the arrangement.

Those files maintained in a filing cabinet drawer (Labelled "Tours and visits", 1965-1995) were arranged in date (the most recent first) then alphabetical order, dependent on the location of the tour. This form of arrangement has therefore been used for the entire series, starting with the most recent conference first.
